"My daughter loves her zip through and wears it often. It is hard wearing and washes well. She is just 10yrs old, slim and of average height and usually wears 9/10yrs in Boden clothes. However on the basis of previous reviews I decided to chance it and bought the 11/12yrs. This was definitely the right choice as it fits well with some room for growth so hopefully it will still fit next year. My son has the boys version (which he also loves) in 11/12yrs and it is loads bigger than the girls version which is altogether more fitted."

"I have four daughters- Georgia, Bethany, Phoebe and Daisy, and I bought two blues and two browns. Bobbly material outside, and rough itchy stubble on the inside. Fits too snugly- I can't understand- I love your products. Please change the Shaggy Lined Zip Through. don't like it at all. Neither do my daughters- gave the jacket to my four nieces instead- they didn't like it either, so sent all four back. It needs to have better quality, for the £26 I paid. Please improve these- got the Teddy Zip Throughs instead, four pinks cos everybody wanted them- a huge hit. Teddy Zip Throughs are nicer than these- much."

"I really don't like this jacket, and I got the blue one for my daughter Kitty. Bobbles erupted immediately, and it is really very poor quality. The fleecy bit inside soon wore off to itchy stubble, and the outside material was bobbly and very rough. You really shouldn't get a Shaggy Lined Zip Through- terrible quality. Kitty loathes the Shaggy Lined Zip Through, and it is not worth it at all. Much too tight as well. I'm very unimpressed- Boden usually has outstanding quality and material."

"This is a fantastic top, the quality is second to none, thick, soft and warm. This year we ordered the top in pink and last year in turquoise. It is a little on the small side so order the size above.
I don't know what my daughter who is nearly 6 would do without this, she wears it everyday for all occasions."

"I bought this jacket for my style-conscious teenage daughter, who 'can't see the point' of wearing a coat! This was my compromise effort and it has been a spectacular success....finally, an article of clothing that we both like!
This is a heavy, warm, outdoor jacket; not a little thin thing that you would keep on indoors. The fit is very snug - my tiny 13-year-old is normally a Boden 11-12, or even 9-10 in tops, but she needs the 13-14 in this easily.
We went for the brown colour and it is a nice, rich chocolate brown; looks super with the Mini Boden brown beret/scarf set."

"We live in California, and this sweatshirt is perfect for cool fall mornings. The lining keeps my little girl warm and the color (we bought pink) is so cute and goes with everything. I loved this jacket so much that I bought one in blue for my little boy. Fit is very true to size, maybe a slight bit roomy. A must have for fall into winter!"

"Bought one last year and loved the look and lining which is so snug and warm. Little disappointed on receiving the one this year as the edges are raw and rough and it didn't look as smart as last years. In saying that, the colour (jeans blue) is gorgeous and the ragedy worn look is growing on me!"

"I bought these for my three daughters last year and we/they loved them. Great weight; heavy enough to be warm but light enough not to be too cumbersome. Bought a new one this year for my middle daughter (aged 5) because hers has disappeared somewhere and was really disappointed to find that the seams are now 'rough' - not by accident but by design. My fault for assuming they were the same as last year, as, upon closer inspection in the pictures you can see the 'jagged' seams, but I much prefer last year's 'proper' edges. Still a great 'cardigan/coat' but can we have neater seams for next year, please?"

"This coat is really lovely. My fussy 8-going-on-18 year old loves it and appreciated the fact it's available in colours other than pink as she apparently doesn't like pink any more.
It is very warm, thicker and heavier than I thought it would be from the product photos and description - a great coat at a very reasonable price."

"my daughter absolutely loves her shaggy lined zip through- the quality is good colour fab -perfect for autumn. As a parent I would prefer the fit to be slightly looser so that it lasts longer as she grows so quick as Im sure she will grow out of it not wear it out."

"I recently retired a Boden purple fleece jacket with a hood that I bought for my daughter when she was 4 and which she has just grown out of aged 6, and this is my replacement and it's great. Really warm and snuggly, nice seam detailing and a pretty purply-blue. The only thing I would point out to prospective buyers is that it is quite heavy - much heavier than a fleece - but I quite like that and my daughter, who is wearing it to her ice-skating lessons, doesn't seem to mind! I think she will easily get 2 years' use out of it, so to me it seems very good value."
