Uptown Jeans

This flattering jean is fiited through the thigh, graduating to a wide bootcut from the knee. We've added a touch of stretch for extra fit and comfort, a mid-low waist, and some terrific detailing like stripy pocket linings and internal binding.

"I picked these up in the sale and am very happy with this purchase! What a great deal on a very useful item! I am a US 4 and bought the 10R (dark wash) and they fit beautifully! Super comfortable...even during a long day of travel! Took a chance and I'm glad I did!"

"I always struggle to get good fitting jeans being between a size 10 and 12. These were excellent as they had the room around the hips, but weren't baggy on the waist. Hurray for real ladies sizes."

"I have tried several different jeans from other retailers and I am glad to have finally found a pair that give a really nice shape. I bought them in vintage and they look great with all my day time casual tops. I would buy these in the dark or black for a smater look."

"Oh dear. Having seen clothes in various high street stores with moth holes I checked these carefully immediately. There in the pocket was a gaping moth hole. My money was refunded and I have not been able to resist the new spring collection. Beware!"

"I am normally a 14 and ordered these jeans in a 14L in all three colours but had to send back the dark ones as they were too tight. Fit of black and vintage pairs was perfect. Sizing is inconsistent. However, the two pairs that fit me are great."

"The demin is so soft and yet sturdy enough to feel llike they will withstand all the wear they are going to get.

I love the cut of these and unlike some haven't found them to be too tight and they are true to size for me.

The wider hem makes them look more tailored than normal jeans and yet the vintage keeps it casual. The waistband did feel a bit stiff at first but soon softened. As with last years sassy jeans I have caught myslelf wondering that if the front pockets were cut so they came just a fraction more to the middle it might make the tummy bit look less wide (I'm not putting this well but hopefully you'll know what I mean). Apart from that minor wonder I love them."

"I ordered the dark denim in a 12 Long. I have several other pairs of trousers from Boden which I have ordered in 12 Regular but I prefer my jeans to be longer. So, the length on these was great, but they were extremely tight through the hips and thighs. I had to really work to get the button done! I was surprised as my other size 12 trousers from Boden fit well, and are even sometimes a bit loose around the hips and waist. I decided to return rather than exchange for a size 14 as I have never bought a size 14 anything from anywhere! I plan to look for jeans at other shops but will continue buying other types of trousers from Boden."

"After looking in vain for the perfect pair of jeans for years, I think I have found them! The uptown jeans fit perfectly, just the right amount of fading and are long enough - hooray! "I always have a size 12l from Boden, but these were far too tight around my bottom. Boden trousers tend to vary in fit, what fits in one style won't fit in another. Had to send these back unfortunately."

"I love these jeans - I'm a pair shape and heavy on the thighs so bought the wideleg jeans last year. These are a far better fit as tighter (but not tight) through the thigh. The material is thinner and less bulky. I usually wear a 12 but returned my 12s for 14R and 14L to wear with flats or heels and they are different sizes. The long are quite generous (almost baggy around bottom) but the regular are for thin days only - at least an inch difference all over. It does seem as if Boden sizes are unpredictable so these reviews help with a size decision."

"Well, I was looking forward to these. Wotta disappointment! 14L fit in wide leg jeans but not at all in these! I have rated as 'fair' cos recognise it may just be me and my figure.. not the jeans to blame! Too short in the leg too. Off to order some boyfriend jeans. Beware .... these may not fit in your usual size if you have chunky thighs and a rounded bottom!"

"I wish I could give 7 stars for value, because for this price these jeans are a steal. I bought my regular Boden size, and I found them true-to-size. I have a curvy figure, and these jeans are really flattering. I also like the fact that the waist is not too low. Still low enough to be flattering for curvy figures, but not so low that you're always worried about it."

"these jeans were to small for me and are well too short. the fit is really poor when the other formal trousers fit me fine
the fabric is not great and they looked cheap.
i returned them straight away"

"I was so excited after reading the review's of the other woman that purchased the jeans pants that I couldn't wait till my package arrived... I am 5'8 . I usually wear a size 4-6 US so I purchased a 10L.. The pants would fit ok, Not how I like to wear my pants but I could get away with it if it wasn't short.. I looked in the bag to see if there was more material that was left off the pants.. The jeans pants feel great on I would just recommend it to shorter females."

"Until now I have always been disappointed with the fit of Boden trousers. Size 10 was big in the waist and the cut was never flattering on me. I thought these jeans looked good in the catalogue and would give them a go - really, really delighted. Very good fit and quality. Unlike many other jeans with elastane in them, they are not heading south and getting baggy while wearing them. So far I have not had to put a belt on which is a breakthrough. Only slight criticism is that 'long' length is fine with flats too short for heels."

"I really like these jeans - they fit beautifully and look great with a small heel. I was complimented on my great jeans the first day I wore them. I am a size 12, 5' 7". Did buy them based on other reviews. I have now ordered them in the dark blue. Very pleased"

"I bought these jeans based on the reviews that the bootcut was not as wide as advertised. But Boden had indeed called it correctly. Unfortunately, it was NOT the look I had planned, so I returned them. I'll try again with a less-flared cut."

"The fit is lovely and Boden quality is always top notch. The only thing I wish for is a petite line since I always have to get Boden pants hemmed. Other than that though a great buy."
