"I have two of these skirts in different patterns - the black woodland print is particularly good looking. I'm 5'4" and the length in regular is perfect for me, just on the knee. However the zip burst on the black skirt. As I'm petite, my clothing is not put under any strain, so I assumed the zip was faulty. Boden quickly sent me a new skirt, but the replacement broke as well. I ended up taking it to a tailoring service who put in a stronger zip."

"Bought this skirt at sale price which is a bargain. Comfortable and lightweight, looks great with tights and boots. Great fit and very flattering (am a size 8 and this size was perfect), have had lots of positive comments. Would not, however, have paid full price for it."

"I love these skirts, I now have two - the green and the blue. The fabric drapes beautiully, although it does stick to my tights when I wear them in winter! The skirts also wash really well. The only gripe I have is that I am 5ft in height and have to roll the skirt up at the waist. Some petite length skirts please Johnny!"

"I have just bought this skirt in the sale, in black. The photos on the website really don't do it justice as in reality it looks a lot better and much more interesting. The print is beautiful, the crinkly texture and pockets make it less formal and quite unique. The shape is more of a gentle A-line and not as full as it looks in the photo. I am 5'7", 8st and size 8R is knee length and a perfect fit. The material is quite lightweight (not sure why this was part of the winter collection) so will be great for spring and summer."

"I bought this skirt a few weeks ago and it has become one of my favourites. I bought the dark green style and it is perfect for winter days with thick black tights and a black top, and i imagine it will be great in the summer also! I am a size 14-16 in most places and the 14 fits me fine. After reading other reviews I decided to buy the longer length and this was the right decision: the skirt ends just below my knees. The lining is also green and provides much warmth!"

"I wasn't sure about this skirt when I ordered it but it has turned out to be my best buy of the autumn if you go by how many times I have worn it. It is quite thin material but that is just fine in modern overheated workplaces. I have the peacock floral and it is a truly good print and colour. I work in a school and it has been much admired by the sixthformers!"

"I bought this skirt in the blue and do really like it, especially the pockets. But for the price I must agree that the material is rather thin, and I don't really think it is designed for colder weather with tights. I was expecting a thicker material from the catalogue product description, and for the price. The lining does ride up terribly when you wear it with tights. The fit is generous for a size 10, but that is fine I suppose if you are wearing winter under clothes."

"I am just updating my review to say that I wore this skirt yesterday with thick tights - essential in this cold weather - and the cotton lining was useless. It stuck to my tights which meant that the skirt was constantly riding up my legs. At Boden prices I expect a proper lining!"

"love love love new woodland floral print. i was so pleased to find that this skirt has pockets - its pretty much the coolest thing i've ever seen. i know what you mean, lady who wanted it to be a fuller cut, but this is what i would call a "sympathetic tulip" shape. please woodland floral jacket to match, mr b."

"This is so disappointing - described as full in the catalogue but is cut so skimpy it just looks cheap and the "pleats" don't even have enough fabric to hang down. There's a weirdly deep hem, however, presumably to give weight to the flimsy fabric. I've often had to question Boden sizing - I'm a standard 12 everywhere else - and this skirt is no exception. I'm so fed up with opening my orders with excited anticipation and then being disappointed, I'm giving up on Boden for the time being. Bring back quality!"

"I am delighted with this skirt. I ordered 2 -one in black/ brown and one in the peacock and am going ot keep both. The fabric is eycatching but also practical and should wear well.The fit is really good- (I ordered 10L)sometimes I find the waist of Boden skirts too large but this is exactly right. It is a much more attractive and stylish skirt than the picture shows which makes it look rather frumpish and shapeless! Looks very nice with knee length boots."

"my 'woodland floral' skirt arrived yesterday and I'm happily wearing it at work today! the fit is perfect - often I find Boden skirts much too big around the waist (I'm a petite size 8) but I'm very pleased to say this is just right. the regular length is also spot on - the best bit? my husband complimented me several times and commented on what a lovely skirt it was!"

"I made the mistake when buying this skirt of not checking the length, consequently the regular length is a little too short for my liking. The sizing I felt was also small around the waist but that's not uncommon with Boden for me.
Overall this is a beautiful skirt and as another reviewer noted looks so much better in real life than the picture shows. Just be sure to check the length before ordering!"

"I bought this skirt in the peacock colourway and found it to be a really good buy. I am a size 6-8 and 5ft in height and this skirt fits so well. I often have to alter or roll-up skirt at the waist to get them to fit but this one fits perfectly. Will definitely buy another one in a different colour."

"I've just got this in the peacock colourway, and I'm pleased with it. The colours are very attractive, and it's a nice shape, but it really is light cotton with a very thin lining - I think I'd need my thermals before I could wear this outside on a cold day! I'm also relieved that I ordered the longer length - at 5'7" it comes just a smidgin below my knees, and I think the shorter length would have looked odd on me with this style. Still, a pretty skirt; could look good worn casually in the day time, or more dressed up for the evening."

I have this skirt in the dark brown fabric. It is very flattering and I like it a lot.

"This is another Boden item which looks even better in real life-a photo doesn't do it justice. I ordered a size 14 long, in peacock. I'm 5'5 and it is a whisper below knee length. I'm glad I read the measurements cos my usual regular would have been too short for my liking. It is a good fit, true to size. I have worn it quite a few times already and it has been admired by all. It is such a lovely shape and colour, the crinkle is subtle and adds to the effect. This is a lightweight skirt though, I think I'll be investing in 100 denier, cotton tights to wear under it in winter!"

"What a great skirt. Exactly what I have been looking for for ages and a perfect fit (10L). The fabric is very good quality and I love the shape, not too flared. I ordered two colours and had to order the other two as I know I will wear them so much. I also experienced the usual superb Boden service as one skirt was a 10R in a 10L bag. A replacement was sent to me the same day so I didn't have to wait."
