"Received dress this morning & couldn't wait to try on. Normally 16 but ordered 18R as suggested and it fits perfectly in all the right places. I found that it compliments my curves & the neckline is just right. Not itchy at all - the wool is as soft as cashmere!! Even though the price seems a little steep, I just know that it will be a favourite in my wardrobe for just about any occasion so with that in mind, the money has been well spent! Ordered 'SBL' colour and they are the most divine colours to put together. Well done Boden!!"

"Seeing how it's pretty much sold out, I guess I don't have to convince anyone what a great dress this is. I suppose I'll just drop a note in hope that more dresses like this one will be offered in the future. I got the blue version, and I love everything about it - colors, fit, fabric's feel. I don't think the cleavage is too low at all, and I like the shorter than usual (for Boden) dress length. Love it and am looking forward to wearing it all winter long."

"Ordered the purple dress and was extremely pleased with it. Definitley worth the wait. I'm a size 18 and it fits perfectly, hugging in all the right places without being clingy, very flattering and did not find the neckline too low at all. Love the colours too. Being wool it's a tiny bit scratchy so I suggest wearing a cami underneath. Have had loads of compliments, thank you very much for a great product."

"I love the color combination of the purple dress. I was leary of buying a wool dress, as I can't wear wool next to my skin, but this dress is very comfortable. I do wear it with a camisole underneath just to make sure. I'd buy it in the blue, but it's sold out."

"This dress was really lovely but in the end I returned it because of the plunging neckline. I tried with various camisoles but couldn't get it to look quite smooth enough. Since this ruled out wearing to work or church, it was too much to spend on a once in awhile date dress. (If I weren't married, I would have kept it in a heartbeat)"

"I had to try this dress on several times before I committed to keeping it. Looks great on, true to size, but fabric is not as comfortable as I have come to expect from Boden dresses. Also, neckline is too low to wear to work; I am, however, happy with my decision to keep it. Details of the dress make it a unique item in my closet."

"Since I'm an E cup, I am not one to wear v-neck dresses . And, I generally find Boden's dresses a bit, er... frumpy. However, the blue dress caught my eye and I am sooooooooo glad I bought it! It's the most comfy thing I have in my closet! And, I can tell you... this dress makes heads turn; men and women alike have complimented me on it.
The only negative comment I have is that it's an inch away from being 'frumpy' in length. Right now, the length is in the grey area of 'frump'. It could definitely be 1 to 2 inches shorter without revealing anything other than my knee caps, and I'm 5"8. Since it is the cutest dress EVER, it's a shame that it isn't a touch shorter. Next year, PUHLEASE design more dresses like this one - less frump and more ooomph!"

"I fell in love with this dress and read all the reviews. I was concerned by the comments of it being scratchy. I am sooo sensitive but you know what-not scratchy at all. I read about it being clingy. I am a curvy. bumpy 16/18 so ordered up a size. Not necessary as this is a beautiful fit true to size. Casual and smart at the time. Fell for the blue skirted option but ended up with the purple one. I have found all the reviews helpfull and glad i purchased. Will wear it for every and any occassion. well done Boden. Another wardrobe classic...with a twist :-)xx"

"Knitted dresses are all over the high street at the moment but I think this one has an edge.It's just so pretty. I bought a 12 long and it fits perfectly. It skims rather than clings!. Its very soft and comfortable to wear but I think it won't be a work item as its fairly low cut.- great possibly for a semi smart occasion with boots or heels."

"I now have this dress in all three colours and love each and everyone of them. The colours and details on this dress are fantastic, and it is ridiculously comfortable! I bought the knitted dress last year and loved it and it has held up great! I look forward to going to work in these dresses all winter and be cozy, comfortable and uber stylish!

"I am standard size 10 and 5'5'' so ordered 10L hoping to wear this with boots. As the dress just hit midway on my knee I measured it to find it is not quite 40'', rather somewhere in between the standard and the long length. Having said that, I will hold on to it ,as it really is lovely. As other reviewers have said it is very easy to dress up or down, definitely a staple for an autumn/winter wardrobe."

"I bought the knitted dress a couple of seasons ago and have worn it to death with boots. Thought I would treat myself to this one too and I am sooo happy with it. The only thing I would mention is that the fit is a little more snug that the last version. A good pair of 'hold it all in' knickers are essential!! Looks fab though"

"I've read a lot of reviews on this dress before buying and I have to say most of them are correct. I'm 5'5" 128 lbs. and an hourglass shape (US size 6-8) so I purchased the size 12. Like other reviews have said it fits snuggly and shows every curve of the hips, so ladies keep that in mind. The neckline reveals some clevage, so when I wear it to work I'll wear a tank top under (I'm a teacher). Otherwise on my shape it makes a smart, sexy statement. The colors are great (true to the picture- I bought the sea blue), though the fabric is a tiny bit itchy. Over all it's a lovely dress, and I'm planning to wear it for Thanksgiving!"

"I just received my dress today and it is wonderful! I ordered it in the Purple colour combo and it is to die for! The material is soo soft and luxurious. I ordered it in a size 8R and it fits perfect! I'm 5'6" and it ends just at my knee. I just ordered it in both other colours and can't wait for them to arrive. It is extremely flattering over the body and i can't wait to wear it with boots, or a cute pair of tights and flats.
I strongly suggest buying this dress, you won't regret it!"

"I bought this dress in the Damson Melange colourway, which is gorgeous. I am petite (5 ft) and an E cup and I find this dress in a size 8R fitted me beautifully and I find the cut is very flattering. The downside is that it is hand wash or dry clean only and it is quite pricey."

"I was reluctant to purchase this dress due to the reviews that warned of its cling, but I am delighted I did. The vibrant colors and form-fitting (but not overly-tight) cut make for a fun and flattering dress. I do have a bust and the neckline is somewhat revealing, but overall I am quite pleased with my purchase."

"Got two of these, the blue and the charcoal. One in size 10 and one in size 8. Amazingly they both fit perfectly, obviously the 10 is not so clingy as the 8, but the fall, fit and cut make them both perfect. It all depends of what one prefers and in what context they are to be used. The bigger one for everyday and work and the smaller for more formal. Can't fault this dress in any way, please do more!"
