"I originally overlooked this amazing cardigan but after looking through the sale merchandise and reading some other reviews I decided to give it a try. I am so very glad that I did! The orange is an amazing color and the wool is very soft and warm. The size 8 fits perfectly (I am usually an 8 or 10) I wouldn't change a thing about it! I just wish I had discovered it sooner so that I could have worn it all winter!"

"I initially bought the navy version of this and was delighted at the quality, fit etc. It is such good value for money that I ended up buying the purple one as well - in the sale - even better! However when it arrived it was very flat and thin and appeared to have been ironed flat. I loved the first one so much that I took it out, steamed it lightly and the texture reappeared - gorgeous plummy shade. love it."

"I love this cardi. I have an orange one and finally gave into temptation and ordered a purple one. It's a good fit. I'm 5' 8" and the body length and arm length are fine. It's very warm - I just wear a long sleeved t shirt underneath and it's been great for the cold weather. I also have a Hamptons cardi but I prefer this. Buy one before they all go as they are very good value in the sale!"

"I actually wasn't sure about this at first. I found the colour options weren't really to my liking but having already bought the Hamptons cardigan I knew how warm and beautiful this Geelong wool is and I was after another cardigan so went for the grey in the sale. (Price wise I'm not certain I would have gone for it at full price just out of budgetary considerations).

The shape is as others have said really stylish, it's got something that might be termed "attitude" (I guess this is why it's called Sassy). It feels great on and despite the fact that there are things I'm not so keen on about it (- the buttons, how it looks when done up right at the top, the way the stitching is that atttatches the ribbon on the underside looks a bit "tacked in" , how the texture looks less pronounced that it does on the model - the knit looks a bit flatter than that in reality though I appreciate that's maybe down to lighting ) , there's just somehting about it that overrides these slight misgivings and makes it another Boden Classic."

"This is a great cardie - the 3/4 length sleeves and unusual texture really do give it the edge. I now have one in orange and green - both gorgeous colours and I'm really surprised that the orange hasn't yet sold out in all sizes! At the sale price it really is a bargain."

"Had to wait 7 wks for cardigan to arrive but it was worth it! Its very good quality and feels lovely on. I ordered it in the grey & its a really nice darkish grey. I wouldn't really say the sleeves are wide though. I'm size 8 & only 5" 2 & was worried it would be too long in the body but it wasn't. Looks really good with jeans (causal) or with trousers for work (smart!)"

"This is very generous in fit. I returned my usual size and went down a size and it is still quite loose.Nice shade of orange and jazzes up sobre skirts. well. Don't buy if you like garments to look fitted."

"I am overall very pleased with this cardigan. It is very warm, thick and exceptionally cosy. I bought it in the purple colour which is lovely and goes well with so many other colours. The only negative thing that I want to mention about this cardigan is the fluffing of the material. Not a huge issue as it can be carefully removed, but an annoyance all the same."

"This is a lovely addition to my wardrobe and is lovely and warm. Wool can be a bit scratchy on me so the 3/4 length sleeves are great and I usually wear it over a cotton layer. I have worn this most days last week and gave it a wash (wool cycle) and unfortunately it appears to have shrunk at the front (near base of bottons) and now rides up at the front and is fine at the back. I hope this is just because of the way i had lain it on the airer it just dried like that. I have already ordered 2 more so I hope this does not happen to them too."

"A great wollen cardy - beautifully warm and versitile - looks good with skirts and jeans. I got a slightly bigger size so that I could wear polo necks underneath - we need added warmth in the North of Scotland! What I love most of all is that this cardy is pure wool - please Boden make more jumpers in good honest wool instead of the mixes with acrylic and the like which bobble easily and look aweful after a few washes."

"This is gorgeous! I bought the orange in a 16. As I am a stock size 16,I was a bit worried about the size after reading other reviews, but the fit is perfect. Very flattering and will wear and wear. Colour is lovely, bright and striking but not neon, more slightly burnt orange, so perfect with jeans and trousers - goes with virtually every pair of trousers that I have, which you wouldn't expect from orange. Wool is soft - I usually stick to cashmere as I love the feel, but this is OK."
