"As with other reviews, sleeves too long and narrow,necessitating thin items only to be worn underneath which limits the use. Turn sleeves back and it looks fine. Bought the brown/blue which I feel is a great combination."

"I hadn't even considered this in the catalogue but thought I'd try it at the bargain sale price in the grey and loved it. Soft wool, fitted beautifully, really classy. Sleeves are long but I liked that. Did have problems undoing buttons but got around that by pulling it on over my head. Much nicer on me than the Sassy Cardigan in green I'd really been waiting for!"

"beautifully made cardigan, thick but not chunky, soft and warm although it does pill a little from the first couple of wears.
i love the purple contrast on the sleeves to the light grey body of the cardigan.
fits true to my usual Boden size, allowing for a light - medium thickness top underneath, buttons up for a smart fitted look.
great value at the sale price, get it!"

"This was my first purchase from Boden, and I'm very happy with it. I am 5'2" tall and 108 lbs, and the size 8 fit like a glove (I wear between a 2 and 4 in US). That being said, I am also a 36A in the chest, so if you are a size 8 but fairly chesty, you might want to size up. Likewise for the arms - they do run a bit tight, but are not uncomfortable for me. I leave the top button undone, and it is very flattering on my smaller, short frame. It's quite tailored and look great with skirts and jeans alike.

The buttons are not difficult once you get the hang of them - I just kind of fold them in half and they pop right into the holes, because they are soft. I purchased the brown and liked it so much I purchased the black as well. I will say that the sizing seems to be a bit inconsistent, as the brown sleeves fit fine, but I need to cuff the ones on the black (not the best QC).

My only complaint is that it does pill under the arms. Each time I wear it, I need to de-fuzz it by pulling the pills off by hand or using a razor. Since it fits so snugly, I will have it dry cleaned rather than trying to wash it myself, just in case it shrinks!

I really do love this sweater - very warm AND fashionable."

"The day this arrived (Christmas Eve) I was going out for a pub lunch with 2 friends. It was cold and I didn't know what to wear. I tried this on and felt so comfortable in it that I kept it on and wore it out to lunch. The grey is a soft blue/grey and the fit was true (I usually wear a 10). The buttons are slightly difficult to deal with - I found it easier to undo the top one and take the cardi off over my head - but the cardi itself is very flattering. I also ordered the brown, but it was a tighter fit, so I returned it."

"I just received this cardigan after buying it on sale, and I am thrilled with it! I was unsure of what size to get, so I went with the 16. I wear a 10/12 in the US and it fit perfectly. The buttons are a bit of a pain, but I don't undo them. It looks great!!"

"Yes, we are PT in Oslo and I tell you it's a challenge to stay warm but comfortable and look stylish too around here, not to mention 'hard currency'. Just one tiny remark- when you can't feel your fingers it's a struggle to do up these soft buttons... Contrast colours are great though. I have brown with light blue-it's lovely, they said so!"

"Really like this cardigan. Its a really good alternative cardigan as its really stylish. Bought it in grey. Only down side was that it was quite fitted so after washing it it has become quite tight on the sleeves so I wish I had bought it in the next size up."

"I did so want to like this cardigan: the pink colour was slightly more red than it looks in the picture, but the most disappointing things were the quality and fit. It hung loosely down my back (only noticeable if looking sideways in the mirror), although the arms were a snug fit. The fabric was very floppy and limp, not up to usual standards. Sorry it has to go back."

"Came this am. Absolutely thrilled with it. Tricky soft buttons but look good when done up. Fits perfectly (size 12). Love the red/pink colour contrast. Will be buying another colourway."

"Am pleased with the fit, colourway (brown/blue cuffs) is lovely and have had compliments. However, for the price not happy that after only one wear the underside of sleeves are already going 'bobbly'. Would expect that of a cheaper cardigan - not one at £75 from Boden."

"i like the sweater but after it's first wear today, it's already pilling under the arms. Also, many reviews don't like the cloth buttons. I like them a lot but find that the button holes are entirely too small"

"Love it. Was looking for jackety/jumpery thing to throw on with jeans and didn't want one of those 3/4 length ones that make me look tiny. This is it. Bit pricey but have had lots of compliments so worth it!!"

"I loved the summer version of this cardigan and I liked the look of this one in the catalogue. When it arrived I liked the buttons and the knit but the arms were so long and narrow on me, although it fitted fine everywhere else. It felt like my arms were restricted and I needed to turn the contrast cuffs up, which I don't think it was designed for as the seams were then showing. So unfortunately it had to go back.
I think it would look good on a tall person with long, thin arms!"

"I have been utterley disgusted with the quality of this cardigan. It is not only very thin, offering very little warmth, but one side t of the cardigan on the front was shorter than the other.
No apologies from Boden, just refund.
More and more products are becoming market quality,"

"This cardigan is a perfect fit (I am quite tall) and whilst it is cosy it is also very stylish. The knitted buttons are a clever touch, I just wonder how they will wear after a while. A very successful purchase!"

"I've bought the brown one & am very pleased with it. However I agree with the previous reviewer, the buttons are knitted & a nuisance to do up. I also think is a bit short for a warm cardi - & I am 5' 6''

"The contrasting color at the sleeves and pockets and the really cute oversized knit buttons add zing to this sweater that is already great for its shape and knit texture. I have long arms and the sleeves fit well."
