"Ordered in the clover and blue options and kept both. The combinations are brilliant, surprisingly they don't need ironing after washing and have washed excellently. I've worn them non-stop since getting them in the sale and they were an absolute bargain. The double-layer gives extra warmth in winter but they have also been great in the cool Spring. I'll be looking out for these in the new range."

"Bought size 20 in chocolate. Am very curvy and find the fit strange: Too much material around chest and shoulders (that almost never happens to me with Boden). The shirt bags under arms and around the neckline. It is however, much too close fitting around the hips and tummy area. Unforgiving might be a better description. Also, the top shirt sleeve sits back 3 cm or so from the bottom one at the wrist so it looks as if the sleeve length is too short. In trying to counter that look, I pushed up the sleeves but found that they tapered too much to do so comfortably. Not convinced two garments as one is best. Bought on sale and missed my window of opportunity to return it. Oh well. The fabric is lovely and soft and I am very fond of the color so I am hopeful it will become more comfortable with wear. Bought my shirt, now will have to wear it....."

"I hadn't even noticed this top until I saw a member of the Boden Leicester warehouse staff wearing it when I returned a parcel (what good advertising!). I now have it in three different colours as I found it good value in the sale, pink, brown and light blue. Much prefer it to the summer version."

"I bought one to try it out in my usual size 14 and loved it so much I bought 2 more...I've got the blue, green and purple variants. The colours are lovely, the fit is comfortable. Great for wearing with jeans to look casual but different to everyone else. I've washed all of them a few times now (inside out to keep the colour) and they all still look good and fit well."

"This is a great quality cotton and is lovely and thick. the colours are well matched too. I have trouble with the neck line which gapes. I read the other reviews before I bought but thought that my large bust would have stopped the wrinkling around the neckline - it doesn't. Bought in sale so not returning but I would not have liked to have paid full price."

"I have just received the lilac one. It is not as bright as I had hoped. But it is lovely thick quality and a great fit in a 14 which is my standard size. Trying this on today has made me order some of their T-shirts from this summers collection. As the quality of the cotton is fab. If they have your size buy it while you can!"

"I bought this in the sale for £17 (size 8) and am very happy with it. It is good quality and fits well (sometimes Boden 8s can be a bit roomy for the flat-chested but this is a snug fit). I wouldn't buy at full price though. Has washed well and I haven't had to iron it, which is a bonus."

"i've just received two of these, ordered in the sale - blue and green - but the colours are not at all what i was expecting from the images on the website and the catalogue. both are much darker and duller and pretty disappointing. i won't send them back - partly because i can't be a***d - apart from the colour they're very nice garments. try to get the colour a bit truer, though, can't you?"

"I read all the reviews and really had to think hard about what size to buy. In the end I opted for size 10 though am normally 10 - 12. Fit was perfet and I totally disagree that neck is too low. I am also long on the back and sleeves and no problems with either. Ordered in blue and have ordered another in purple. Washes really well too."

"The fabric used for these double layer tops is lovely - very soft and the double layers add a real cosy feel. I bought the 12 and it's a great fit, unlike several other 12s I've tried which are a bit too close. I agree that the neck is a little low, but the top felt great as soon as I put it on."

"This is a lovely, lightweight, yet cosy top. The colourways are really creative. I am somewhere between a 12/14 so went for the 14. The body and sleeve fit is excellent but the neckline is very loose and baggy and I have had to make a tuck in the shoulder seam. Not sure whether I would get another one although the colours are very tempting."
