"Everyone shoul have few of these...you can't go wrong and if you are having a bad day just stroke the velvet trim...I do agree though with the others it does need to be slightly longer but not too long please. I missed out on light blue one this time, oh no!"

"I had this top in Marine and just got the Kiwi. NOTE: the color is NOT as light as the photo - more Avocado than Kiwi. It does look good with the brown trim. Love the more substantially-weighted fabric. I'm a US 10 or 12, so I ordered UK 14 and 16 (I have to wear 16 in the non-stretchy Boden styles to get enough room for my chest). The 14 fits perfectly in the arm and body length (I'm about average waisted) and there is enough fabric in the width to not be skin tight."

"I like the velvet trim. I got mine in black. It is midwieght cotton and should last longer than the thiner broken in cotton/rayon,modal I usually go for in my clothes selections."

"I bought the black before it went out of stock (thank goodness!) and I sized up, and I'm glad I did. It's a snug fitting top, but I do wish Boden would make their T's longer to bridge the gap so that I could be more confident about the gap between my pants and T when I am playing with the kiddos or bending over. Maybe offer "long" sizing? I'm back to order a scoop neck, but will definitely size up again and will not be putting it in the dryer. (Need to coach hubby on that.)"

"I really like these shirts. I ordered three sizes because I am unfamiliar with the UK sizing. I ended up going with the largest size. So if you are estimating I would round up. But all in all great experience"

"I love these tops. I bought 2 V-necks last season and have bought 2 more this season. They are very versatile and can be worn to work and as casual wear. The fabric is quite thick and is very cosy for winter. As far as sizing goes, I find my usual size fits well. They are also very good value. I would recommend these tops to anyone."

"It is so nice to find a long sleeve t-shirt that is just long enough to cover my tummy! I am size 12, 5' 8.5" and all my tops from Gap and M&S are too short which is very annoying. Have just ordered the scoop neck as I'm so pleased and I love the blue with light blue trim. Am wearing for work and also with jeans. The material is good quality too. Fab!"

"I'm so pleased with this top, which I've purchased in earlier incarnations. This version is slightly longer and the V neck slightly lower, making it just a little more elegant as well as very wearable and practical. I have the green with brown trim (the green is much more positive than on screen). I'm not going to comment on the sizing, because having read lots of reviews I find it can be misleading - best to try your usual size first, I think!!"

"I ordered this top in black was really happy with it. Love the velvet trim. I did go up a size from my usual 14 to a 16 and found that to be a good fit. It is very flattering and because the material is good quality, found it to be quite slimming. I am definately going to order in another colour."

"I have been buying the velvet trim v necks for at least two years now, probably more. I buy 2 each season and they last and last. I'm a size 16- 18 and find the size 16 fits beautifully. The fabric is quite thick, so hides any lumpy bits. The tops are great for work and also look good with jeans. Even when I was skint on maternity leave, I still made sure I had the money for these.
I hope Boden always keep producing this super product."

"Just received 2 of these tops today and I'm really pleased. I ordered the green and pink and the colors look just as they do on the website and in the catalog. The cotton is thick and soft. I did size up and I"m really glad I did. The fit is exactly how I like a t-shirt--not big and sloppy but not tight. I know I'll get a ton of use out of these."

"First time I have ordered clothes over internet. Having fairly large top half I have to buy tops carefully, but this one fits a treat. Have worn it dressed up a bit to go out and with jeans to go to school. I have just ordered it in another colour too!"

"I love this top. The dark grey color with the vibrant purple it totally cool. The cotton is midweight and soft. This is a great layering piece."
