"After reading the reviews, I decided to order this top. Being rather buxom, it's a flattering fit, and doesn't overemphasise the bosom ! Pleae carry on with this style for future seasons, but a wider range of colours would be appreciated."

"Ordered this top as I had a voucher to spend. I like the top but if I had paid full price for it I would have been disappointed with the quality and thickness of the material for a £25 top! Ordered the grey so that I could mix and match that neutral colour with necklaces etc. and it is perfect for that."

"These really are lovely comfy practical tops. I am a lumpy dumpy size 14/16 and a size 14 fits a treat, hangs beautifully, covers a multitude of sins and has 3/4 length sleeves which means no rolled up or wet cuffs when you wash up. If funds alllow I am buying a grey one too ( I have the blue). Buy some!!"

"I have a large bust, so I decided to buy the next size up after reading the other reviews. I was anxious that it may look to big around the waist and therefore look more like a maternity smock. Fortunately it fits great! I am really pleased with the quality of the fabric and the colour, (grey). Just wondering whether to buy the mink. I think this top is great value for money and is really stylish. I just wish there were more colours to choose from"

"I ordered size 14 in the plum but had to exchange it for a 12 as it was a generous fit and too much fabric around the tummy area...ok it your apple shape like myself even then the 12 had plenty of room to spare..!!"

"when the top arrived I thought it looked too boxy and shorter than expected, but once on, the fit was great. i am a 12/14 but ordered the 14 and this fits well. perhaps if you are tall (i'm only 5'3") it might be a bit short in the length, but was perfect for me. was snug across the bust without being too tight and i thought overall very flattering. also one of those tops that are useful on a 'fat' day when you want to hide the tummy area. Considering getting another colour - wish there was a dark brown."

"A super top if you have a small bust. The fabric is soft and drapes beautifully, and the slight bell sleeves add a fashionable and glamorous twist. However, I have had to iron the pleats on the front to make them lie flat after washing. I have the dark grey colour and it looks fab with jeans."

"really pretty femine top, looks lovely with jeans. I got the mushroom colour, lovely shape and after 2/3 washes quality remains v good. My only criticism is the tops of the arms and back feel a bit snug, not a prob I've ever had with tops before , could just be me..."

"Perfect for a strange body shape like mine, with small bust and hips, but large stomach. Makes me look thinner. Love the grey - goes with everything. But could do with more colours. Best thing I've bought for ages. Would buy another but blue and mink don't suit me."

"I really liked the photos of this top and thought it would be a good wardrobe staple. Sadly it just did nothing for me, and if you have an ample chest the pintuck just pulls acroos it. Sent it back."

"I bought this thinking it might make me look like the gentle willowy model with the delicate colouring like mine.
Hmmm....it washes me out and makes me look jaundiced.
Shame as the cut is nice and material good.
Will send it back. Could do with some jolly, lifting colours I think."

"I loved the look of this top the pleats and cuff detail. Sleeves shoulders and neckline fit perfectly but the fact that the material falls straight down from the bust (I'm a 36C) makes it too "smock-like" - if the lower part of the top were a separate piece of material attached just below the bust it would sit better and be much more flattering. Would probably look great on a flatter chest but sadly I'm sending it back."

"What a lovely top - great quality - but sadly just way too large for my 6/8 frame. It seems that size 8 is getting bigger with most retailers! Boden please introduce a size 6 on some of your clothes so I can wear more of your lovely clothes."

"I ordered this top in the burgandy - loved it so much I ordered another one in the blue and both look good with jeans or a smart trouser for work. I am rather large chested and I was worried the pleats would add bulk however both the fine pleats and material avoid this problem. I think if you have chubby arms the cuff may be tight as it only just fits my arms and they are quite slim. More colours please!"

"This looks wonderful in the photo but somehow not very exciting on - no comparison with the Velvet Trim Empire Line Top, which also aims at lightweight draped elegance. Perhaps because the Empire Line Top comes in vibrant colours with contrast trims, whereas this seems a muted and limited colour range.
Very good value, though."

"This top is fab! It is easy to wear with a flattering shape which covers the tummy beautifully without looking like a tent! I would buy another one if there were some other warm colours as well as the plum i got. Great value too.My only modification might be full length rather than 3/4 sleeves."
