"I ordered this in the 14 - was unable to get it in the 16 because it was a sale buy. It fits but due to the fabric tends to cling to rather than skim my tubby tum! I think a 16 would have been too big. I like the top and think it is a great way to smarten up a pair of jeans for the evening.I'm not sure I would have paid full price for it though."

"I bought this top a while ago and each time I wear it I love it more and more! Bought a size 10 (normally take 10 sometimes 12) and is true to size. The colour (purple) is very flattering for my skin tone and have had lots of people comment each time I wear it. Also I bought at sale price but I wouldn't have minded paying full price as I love this top so much. Highly recommend."

"This top is a great look for women who are a larger bust size. I bought a size 14 and found the fit on the shoulders to be particularly good. A good idea to have a camisole underneath for some modesty. Keep this top away from curious cats who might wish to pull on the beadwork!"

"Love this top. Its a relief to have a great standby like this that feels fun and comfortable too. As other reviews have said the material is T-shirty, it also has a lovely soft feel to it and don't think it looks cheap at all. The jewelybits look so nice, unusual for me as i don't go for the really blingy stuff. Really surprisingly pleasing thankyou. Got the 12 in violet, am usually inbetween 12 and 14 but fits great. Hmmm shall i grab the brown too!!"

"This top is simply fab. It is so versatile, you can dress it up and down and incredibly comfortable. I wear with smart pants and with canvas jeans. I have the brown colour and love the detailing. Bit pricey (it is T shirt type material) but worth it. However, size down if you are iin between sizes - it comes up larger than usual!"

"This is a very pretty top which I recently bought. It looks very nice on, however the material is slightly flimsier than I thought and doesn't hold its shape as well as I would like at the bust!. I'm glad that I paid sale price."

"I love this top, it make me feel incredibly sexy. I was dubious about ordering following some of the review re: fit but on me it looks devine! I have it in purple in a size 10 (norm 10-12) and the fit is perfect, sexy but not revealing across the bust and drapy over the tummy to hide 'mummy bulge'. Definately worth a go at this price."

"When I first tried this on I thought it was awful - dreadful fit, awful drape. I meant to send it back, but you know how it is I never quite got round to it. A month later I was desperate for something black and respectable (and clean) to wear for a concert, so had no choice but to resurrect it, and you know what I really like it now. Sale price is about right, but the top itself is very comfortable and what I assumed would be awful fit turned out to be fine. Give it a chance!"

"This top is such a beautiful style (in black). It is a classic piece - as Boden do so well. I do agree with some of the reviews however, that the material is very flimsy and not as you would expect especially looking at the model photo. You'd think it would be heavier.

I have kept it though as I think the style will be a key wardrobe piece although I wouldn't have paid the original £45 for it - not good value at that price given the material."

"fitted aroudn bust well( unusual as I am a 34E and tops like this normally DONT)
but then the drape over the tummy is odd and makes you look wide. This is why the model in the shot is standing liek that!

"Looked great in catalogue - but very disappointing in real life. Nothing special, jewelled bits are rather dull, the fabric creased easily and it made me look pregnant from the front and fat from the back. Such a shame as I thought it would be so useful, but had to return it."

"Hey Girls - just a cotton picking minute here...this is an absolute classic Boden top. I was a little concerned when I read the reviews, which don't do this top justice, but when I received it I was thrilled. Being a size 12 it fits perfectly and I know that it will become a trusty favourite in my wardrobe. Admittedly, it is a little expensive, but I believe its worth every penny. Thank You Boden, this is the most delicious top I've had from you for yonks."

"Fabric thinner than I thought but it is very soft & this makes it hang nicely. A classic top which although expensive should earn its keep in £ per wear. Would be even better if either it was petite (under 5"3) or even better I wasnt!"

"Arrived creased. Material disappointing But like the style. Sleeves and cross-over neck are flattering. So might go for the plum shade as well as the black one. Ordered it in 2 sizes to be sure of my size.Length is good."
